The spherical impregnated activated alumina media shall be impregnated with 4.0-6.0% potassium permanganate, a bulk density of 49-51 pounds per cubic foot, a moisture content of 10-15% by weight. The media shall have a particle size of 3 x 6, 14 x 28 or
20 x 50 mesh. Bulk density of 50 #’s per cubic foot.
The characteristics of HS-400 air filtration media are as follows:
Hydrogen sulfide 0.08 g/cc removal rate
Crush Strength 2.3 kg minimum
