Arsenic Removal for Water Treatment
HS-AS is considered to be the ideal choice for areas having a high concentration of arsenic. High levels of arsenic may cause serious health problems if present in a water supply in larger amounts than what is currently the standard set by EPA. Arsenic has no odor or taste and can come from industrial, agricultural or natural deposits in the ground.
Activated Alumina with an iron enhanced ammonia will not only increased the arsenic adsorption rate but also has to work in a variety of environments. This technology has been used widely in spring water bottling, point of use and point of entry, by various municipalities, public water departments and by small-sized gravity feeds.
